You've Got a Friend

Jun 6, 2024

Best Friends Day falls on June 8 each year to honor your closest and dearest friends. The relationship between best friends is loyal and strong, withstanding even distance, storms, and silence. Whether we’ve known them all our lives or they are more recently acquired, best friends make tough times bearable, fun times memorable, and memorable times priceless. Best friends can be from childhood, later in life, or even of the four-legged variety. In fact, many pets provide companionship and much needed laughter and love at just the right moments.

Thanking God

We should always thank God for the positive impact best friends have on our lives. True friends can be hard to find, and if we’re lucky enough to have them, we should cherish and appreciate them as the gifts from God they are. Not only can we befriend others and animals but because of His Son, God can now call us His friends. Romans 5:11 states, “So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.”

Friends make the world a better place, so get together and celebrate them today!
