Why give to The Salvation Army?
Here are four reasons to contribute to the The Salvation Army Orange County:
The Center of Hope is a comprehensive solution for homelessness in Orange County and beyond. The Center of Hope will be the operational hub of the Homeless Throughput System, that will empower and guide residents toward a new life of physical, emotional, and spiritual health, and the joy and dignity of true personal autonomy. The low-barrier shelter has been in full operation since February 2019 and the Permanent Supportive Housing units will open in May 2023. More information
We operate two shelters for survivors of human trafficking. Our Guest House serves foreign-born survivors of labor-trafficking, who are eligible for immigration relief while our Emergency Safe House serves 18-25 year-old, female, domestic survivors. It is the first 24-hour staffed emergency safe home for victims of sex trafficking in Orange County.
Salvation Army has launched a new music program that will provide music and art education for children in schools in Orange County that no longer provide music and art education in the schools.
87 cents of every dollar goes directly into programs.
