The Call for Compassion
Human trafficking has become a scary and very real occurrence globally. As safe as we feel, these atrocities have also hit home here in Orange County. For those who have fallen victim to these crimes, The Salvation Army Orange County provides survivors with shelter and resources for medical assistance, legal services, job placement and more.
To help prevent and educate our communities, six churches in Orange County and the Faith Based Action Subcommittee will be partnering up to provide a 6-part educational series on human trafficking. This series will run from March 2025 through January 2026 and will be held every other month.
The first kick-off event will be on Saturday, March 15 from 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM at Saddleback Church. This will include a presentation on Human Trafficking and Internet Safety by Corrine St. Thomas-Stowers has over 20 years of experience in online child protection, human trafficking operations and brings many years of experience in law enforcement and intelligence. This is a must-see presentation for parents and any other family members that want to take a proactive step against human trafficking.
It's free to attend, but make sure to register below. We look forward to seeing you there!
