Sending hugs for Mother's Day

May 13, 2025

This week, we visited the Center of Hope’s Anaheim Emergency Shelter to drop off treats and celebrate moms. It was a blessing to see their faces light up. While we were there, we asked, “What’s your favorite thing about being a mom?”

Alyson shared, ““My favorite thing about being a mom is seeing my heart outside of my body grow and become a Godly person." She spoke about seeing her son light up on stage for his preschool performance and seeing God’s love shine through him.

Ebelin said, ““The unconditional love you receive from your children.” Children often love their mothers without question, simply and fully, just for being there. It’s a quiet kind of love that doesn’t need words to be felt or proven—truly beautiful.

These are just a couple of the big-hearted moms that work hard to transform lives in Orange County each day. We are so grateful and blessed to have them!

Mother’s Day for those who are hurting

We recognize that Mother’s Day is a difficult time for many. Some may have mothers that passed from this world, some may be estranged, and some may not have ever been around. To those who are hurting, we send warm hugs and comforting thoughts! If you’re comfortable, we’d love to pray for you. Please click here to submit a prayer request.
