Prayer for Israel and Gaza
Psalm 121 I lift my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from evil; He will keep your life. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and forever more.
Father, we come to you in the mighty name of Jesus. We lift up the current situation that is in Israel right now and we ask that you would cover your nation with a peace that would surpass all understanding. With your sovereign right hand, we ask that you would protect all innocent lives, keep them in the shadow of your wings, and send an army of angels that surround your nation. We ask that your eye would be upon your sons and daughters. Breathe a wall of fire over every home and heart of both Israeli and Palestinian people as a hedge of protection. Heavenly Father, open our eyes to repent and come back to you, we declare that you are The Messiah, The God of Israel. ‘El ‘Elohei Yisra’el, we declare Exodus 15:1 We will sing to the LORD, for He has triumphed gloriously…We raise Israel and Gaza to you, and we ask that you provide peace in this crisis, and protection and comfort for all those who have been impacted.
We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
